“What the hell is that?” I laughed.
“It’s my fox hat.”
“Your fox hat?”
“Yeah, Pudge. My fox hat.”
“Why are you wearing your fox hat?” I asked.
“Because no one can catch the motherfucking fox.”—John Green, Looking for Alaska (via petals-of-a-wallflower)
Could anyone give me songs (and/or fan vids) that remind them of the Avengers and their reasons why. I already have the 30 Seconds to Mars song “This is war” but does anyone else have any other suggestions?
I know how you feel, and I can promise you, you’re not alone.
It’s tough to be the one to always have that feeling of being “left behind.” And while everyone assures you it will “come in time,” that in time feels like eternity. That in time will always feel like such an unattainable thing. While others fall in and out of love so easily, you just want to know what it’s like to have that happen, just once.
Just once you’d like to know, what it’s like to have someone you can miss, whose voice will brighten your day, who can make you smile through tears, or just hold you when all you want is a hug.
Even if confidence isn’t an issue, from experience, it’s always something else. If it’s not being hard to read, it’s because your hair is too short, or you don’t dress girly enough. There are always those nagging thoughts in the back of your mind, citing those old reasons why you’re single, much to the surprise of others.
You certainly aren’t alone, buddy. I know it feels that way, with everyone you’re surrounded by attached to someone. We could start a club together. Call it Prose before Bros (however that seems counter-intuitive) and wander the ‘verse of singularity (Oh, that sounds like a great Youtube channel name).
All this coming from a 22-year-old, never been kissed, never been anything, virgin.
I don’t know why but I was compelled to write a Sherlock/Avengers crossover and I have to wait 2 days before I can post if on FF.Net, so I’m just going to post it here. Please enjoy I haven’t written fanfic in forever. Auugh I’m so bad.
“You’re no doubt trying to deduce if I am indeed the man you’ve been sent to find.” The violinist spoke softly. “I doubt my brother sent you, but he’s aware.”
“Is he?” Coulson asked.
The musician’s eyes flicked upwards. Coulson followed his gaze and found himself staring at a security camera that was pointed directly at the two. The Agent’s lips twitched at the corners and he fought the urge to smile. It had been a while since S.H.I.E.L.D’s own security had been so evenly matched. He turned back to the musician.
So, if Firefly actually does get this reboot with the original cast (AND PLEASE LET IT BE SO), then I officially deny the Sherlock fandom the right to call itself 'The Fandom that Waited'. That would be gorram US. .
